Omg I failed my driving practical ): I la, destroyed everything at the last moment of circuit. I went through all the obstacles- vertical parking, parallel parking, slope, directional change, s-course and crank course without a hitch except for 2 demerit points at parallel parking where I turned the wheel while the vehicle was stationary. But at the exit point of the last obstacle, the crank course, I kena immediate failure. Not cos I mounted the kerb but cos I failed to give way to traffic on the main road. KNS. IMMEDIATE FAILURE sia. The driver, a girl, was driving damn slowly at my right and her face was plastered with question marks. I was like, OK, why is she looking so confused she should just speed up and let me go already cos I just received instructions from the tester to turn right. I waved for her to go but her speed remained the same. So I dunno what possessed me (I think I was blur la, the fact that I was about to turn into the main road didn't occur to me), I just drove up and turned right, passing her car. Fucking hell. Super wasted! That was a stupid decision la.

Think my re-test should be in end March. Gotta work on my little mistakes and get used to traffic situations more /: Oh well I'm still a road hazard so at least the roads are still safe. Lol. But sigh gotta spend more moolah. Sponsorship deal with Dad expired already so gotta fork out from my own pocket. I am officially in dire straits! ):

Got $100 worth of CapitaLand vouchers for my birthday from my Tribe and a few bowlers (: Gonna make full use of it and go for retail therapy later. Tonight gonna attend No. 1 Trance DJ Armin Van Buuren's party at Zouk with baby and some other colleagues (: I hope my alcohol endurance is still there!

Hello 2009.

2008's been very very eventful. First year of freedom after 12 years of schooling. Haha. Super shiok feeling! I remember having a blast of a birthday all thanks to my Thursday Club on the 6th of January to kickstart my new year :D Then came 9th January when I started as a server in Harry's Boat Quay before becoming a barmaid in end February in the newly-opened Harry's Shenton Way. Then came the trip with the bowlers to Bintan where we went bodysurfing and clubbing at a beach club for the very first time :D Then in May, Deborah, Krystal, Michelle my ex-vice-class chairwoman and Clar went for a superduper funtastic trip to Bangkok :D First time taking the plane since I was a teeny tod! Then in August, quit Harry's due to school and decided to do part-time at another bar. That's when I started at Loof (: Been great there ever since! A really good decision I made I would say, cos that's where I learnt more about bartending, had a lot of fun while I was at it and enjoyed a new environment- 90percent of my colleagues are around my age, so some of us are quite tight as friends outside of work :D, music is gooooood (no more jazz /: house and acoustic mmm!) - and that's where I met Dominguez Santos (: These are the most memorable events of my 2008 (:

The last few hours of 2008's spent working at Loof. The bartenders all drank after the countdown. Walao eh tah-ed a vodka RedBull and Mumm's champagne in the end got quite sagh that I couldn't aim. Haha. I remember that I wanted to put a scoop of ice into the ice water jug but only half the scoop of ice went in and when I wanted to put a lime wedge into the mouth of a Corona bottle I either pushed a little too hard or I missed the mouth by a bit so down went the bottle onto the bar mat and some beer leaked out X: Vincent was like, wey wey wey you OK or not?! in half-laughter cos he know I'm most probably halfway up in the clouds already xD I managed to put the bottle upright and pushed a lime wedge halfway through the mouth but the amount of beer that leaked out was rather obvious. The whole neck of alcohol from the bottle was gone (x Luckily quick-thinking Vincent instructed me to pump some soda into the bottle to save the alcohol else sagh Zen would just be like, just serve la! Managed to escape a tequila shot and glass of Rosé (x I just pretended that I was damn busy stocking up/cleaning la. Hahaha. Caught Mervin and Derick hiding at either sides of the kitchen while the alcohol was being served xDDD Damnnnn funny. Went to Supperclub after work. Stayed over at baby's place after that.

The bowlers popped by after the countdown and Warren snapped a pic of me and Nad at work :D (It's when I was sagh :D )


I really hope that 2009 will be as eventful (good ones!!!!!!) as 2008 (: I'm sorry, baby, that the new year didn't start off right ): I really hope we won't have anymore misunderstandings. I love you so much.
This afternoon, baby and I went cycling. Haha okay, or rather, he cycled while I just stood at the back xP I didn't help at all, I just added weight (a lot of weight I must add!) to the back and baby had a hard time when we went through narrow poles, upslopes and manouvreing around. I offered to cycle us instead but scrapped the idea after getting on the bike and discovering that my feet didn't touch the ground /: Wasn't confident that the journey will be in safe hands! We were supposed to get to Toa Payoh Lorong 8's market's ATM to transfer some money but when we got there the ATM wasn't working. Omggg. Baby had to cycle around the estate to look for another ATM but we only managed to find one at Lorong 7. Luckily we had a little rest while transferring money. Heh. Baby managed to ride us safely back while tolerating his not-at-all-light girlfriend at the back (x You're still the best baby! Haha. I must admit, it really felt like those old school romance you see in movies xD Rah lemme lose some weight then at least baby will consider doing that again. HAHA (x

I should be sleeping now but I just felt like my life's been whizzing by just like that, I should document some part of it before I forget them.

Work's been okay, we've got 2 new bartenders, Mervin and Indra on Christmas Eve. Walao eh! Didn't expect it to be so dead. I was stoning half the time cos Jianling, Mervin, Indra and Anselm were in the bar too so we had 10 hands. But at one point in time even with only me and Mervin we could still stone. Lols. Perhaps another reason why were were stoning is cos it's the first time we're working together. Couldn't take doing nothing so started with breakdown at about 1am. While wiping the fingerprint-marked Redbull fridge Steven was like, "Walao eh bo me kia zoh ar?!" Oh well it's only when it's boring and sian and you need to find something to do and it's actually a good thing you notice even the littlest of stains right? :D

I know this sounds a little unfair, but I get quite GRRRR with the server-newbies. At first I was okay with them. But sometimes ar, they can get very ignorant. They keep forgetting to spike their captain orders and they do really silly things. One of them could ask me, while half-lifting the ice-filled martini glass being chilled while the bartender was shaking the drink, "Is it okay already?" It's one of the most omg-moments I have in Loof. Lols. Cannot tahan sia.

Christmas was spent at Loof and after that a number of us headed down to Balcony to celebrate Clara's birthday and have a Christmas outing. Too bad the birthday girl didn't feel so well so she just slept due to the Waterfall she had prior to the outing, poor thing. We sat around a small table indoors and played Big Fish Small Fish, Who What Huh and 007 Bang all in 15mins. Hahaha. Cos they all didn't work out due to stupid JARed. Ji siao kia. Haha. He's one damn funny ah beng I swear. Super entertaining but sometimes you feel like strangling him. Haha. Left at 6am with baby and sleptover.

Today had a Christmas potluck picnic with a few of the bowlers and baby at ECP (: I'm really very very happy that he could get along well with them (: (And that he went over to Glenn's with me to bake with him and Reg!) Had a Secret Santa gift exchange too. I got Royce Chocs from Glenn! Haha. We went to play arcade at BK upstairs after that for awhile. Omg I think the video of baby playing para para will be on YouTube/FB soon enough! (x One entertainer la he.

Alright I'd better head to bed. Sending lunch over to baby's place tmr before heading to work together. Hope that it'd be livelier than Christmas Eve!

Oh and I'm glad that Taytay got home safely from the US! Poor thing got stuck in Chicago for 4 days /:

Learnt how to park the car today! With the help of poles but oh well! So happy I progressed hehe! Baby's asking me to learn how to drift -.-" I wonder if you know, how they live in Tok-kee-yo... *starts dancing to the song* Anyone who'd like to volunteer a manual car for me to practise drifting?

Today's the last lesson for Principles of Accounting. We did a revision tutorial on what's coming out for the exam and after the 4th question I pengsan already. Was sooooooo tired omg dunno how to describe. I felt like a saturated piece of sponge. Just copied off the 5th question's answer from Jordan cos buay tahan already. For the last hour of lesson just stoned down there and copied whatever lecturer wrote on the board without absorbing anything. But at least I did 4 out of the 5 questions hehe I can say I'm almost done with Accounting revision yay!

This morning I woke up to this-

*Heart melts into a puddle* SO CUTE RIGHT. She looks so sweet there AH! Even in my groggy state I knew I had to capture this. Haha. Kissed her ear but she still did not budge. Must be in her rainbow-and-puppies dreamland. Haha.

Module exams are comingggg! It's gonna be from next Tues to Thurs with baby's birthday celebration in between. Rah what good timing la seriously. Had a bad feeling about Law Finals and thought I failed Law Class Test but in the end just managed to touch 70, which is a distinction :D That gave me some hope to at least aim for distinction again in the Finals. Must start cramming now or else!!!

Oh yes before I forget, last Monday, Warren invited me, Reg and Glenn over to help decorate his Christmas tree! He remembered me telling him in J1 (!) that I've never decorated a tree before! Whoa of course how could I turn that down. Haha. This was what it looked like after we were done-

We had red and gold flowers, white and red dangly jewels, white ornaments, gold lights and a big golden bow to top the tree :D Too bad my 3.2 megapixel phone camera didn't do the tree justice. I will get those photos from Warren and post it up again. After decorating the tree Glenn said that he felt like baking (but he didn't specify WHEN) and my eyes popped out embracing the idea while half in awe that Glenn actually wants to bake while Reg suddenly thought of the delectable apple crumble we had at Shawn's party and immediately Warren was like, we can bake now! Let's go Cold Storage! It was like 9.45pm and Reg was skeptical that it would be open so we headed to FairPrice instead, got the ingredients and baked us an apple pie cake. Lol. The batter didn't turn out right somehow so it became cake-like but twas still really nice with the hard crust on top and soft spongey inside! Haha.

First Day Of School (:

We did Law today. It's going to be this semester's module (Commercial Law) together with Accounting. Commercial Law lectures are held every Tuesday while Accounting's held every Thursday. Class was rather big with about 40 students O: Have not been in such a big class since secondary school. What's different is that about half of the students there are much older than me. There are many working adults there who ranged from 20plus to 40plus years of age. But those whom I've met are really nice (: Our lecturer is cool stuff man, I think we're lucky to have such an interesting Law lecturer. Law's supposed to put you to sleep right, you think? But with Chris around I don't think that'd happen cos he's a part-time lecturer and he's a real-life lawyer as well, so he has MANY interesting courtroom stories to tell. Haha. I think I may come to like the law subject actually. Haha!

BUT what threw me off is that Law exam will be held on Dom's birthday D: And 2 days after that will be Accounting exam. Rahhhhhhhhh! And not to be outdone, first day of Semester 2 will be on my birthday ): OH WELLSERS. School don't make way for birthday plans so gotta just deal with it. Can celebrate earlier I guess..

On a higher note, dearest Shamayne is now in my Jap class! :D She jumped over to me and Vic's school yay! Hehe. Now I've a partner in class whom I can practise Jap with (:
