Merry Christmas Eve!
Too bad I dont really celebrate Christmas cos I dont have the Christmassy, festive mood in my house.
The friends will make up for it cos there will be Christmas dinner with some seniors & our batch of bowlers tmr, as well as Tim's Christmas party on the 27th (:
Spent Christmas Eve with Vic, Anuaar, Glenn, Kevin Teo, Michelle & Cali!
The longlost friends! Cos most of them were at Milo in KL for the past week plus.
We watched Curse of the Golden Flower! (:
It's really good!
Dramatic, yet interesting.
A tale of incest, loyalty, hypocrites, bad family communication, vice & war.
Okay movie spoiler coming up.
The Empress & Emporer were having a quiet war between each other when at the end the Empress' army were beaten when both their armies came head-to-head (yeah talk about Civil War!).
Actually it's quite a lame concept :S The Empress' army was annihilated. Completely!
It all started when the Empress had a sexual relationship with the Crown Prince (!!!) but the audience does not know during the first part that the Empress is not his biological mother.
Yeah the audience prolly got the shock of their lives thinking it was an incest relationship but in the end it isnt. Lol.
Then comes the part where the Crown Prince is also having a secret love affair with one of the palace maids named Chan at the same time.
The audience prolly didnt think much about it but in the end it WAS an incest relationship when he found out that the palace maid's mother IS ALSO his biological mother. Lol! When Chan found out she ran away SCREAMING. Which was quite, I dunno, funny in a way. But I mean, it's a very shocking discovery of course. But it was HOW she reacted. She ran out of the room where she found out & screamed all the way out of the palace doors!
The part when the whole royal family were praying looked OVER dramatic already cos all of them wore robes & accessories made of gold from HEADTOTOE. Even with a trailing end to the robes at the end. Haha.
Gong Li looked great. She looked like Hatsumomo in Memoirs of a Geisha in some parts of the show when she let her hair down. Lol.
Jay Chou.. He doesnt look too appealing with his Chinesey bun on the top of his head & in the military gear. His acting wasnt tooooo great but he's okay to watch. His swordfighting skills made up for it. Quite sad in the end though, when he killed himself when torn between loyalty to his mum the empress & his dad the emporer.
Yeah the ending part was the climax.
I still cant believe how all the princes died, especially the youngest one.
That one shook me the most.
The Emporer actually used his like 5inch wide, 2inch thick GOLDEN belt to BEAT his youngest son to DEATH.
That was vicious & most shocking!
The Emporer could even laugh! :S
I wont ever forget that part of the film!
Okay I shant elaborate any further already!
Haha. Go watch it if you havent!
Those who are working around me have influenced me to think about what job I'd want to take up next year after A Levels.
The senior girls said that they wont be entering Uni until August next year.
Asked Cali about the air stewardess job that she wanted to take up, cos I thought that it's quite interesting.
I dream of being in the tourism business anyway & I'd love to travel!
But I heard that there's a few months of training PLUS we must work there for at least a year.
So maybe after A Levels can work first before going Uni.
Haha maybe I can even save enough to go overseas to study.
Or afford my own car when I get my licence. Lol.
In a cab ride home with Jocelyn the other day, the cab driver was actually an air steward & he was telling us about his experience, which sounded really attractive!
So I should go lose the fats first so that I can actually fit in the Singapore Girl SIA uniform!
Ahaha.

Stayed over at Jocelyn's house yesterday!
Havent hung out with this girl for a year ):
We had Nasi Briyani for dinner at my house (Reg, I bet you can smell it all the way from Hong Kong! (x), before walking over to hers.
Walking down the path to her house nowadays brings back memories of Sec 4 days.
Every morning that year, I'd walk from my house to hers & her mum would fetch us to KC.
But almost every morning her mum has to race her car to school cos we'd always be late.
Haha.
Then there's the countless times we hung out at her house for parties, Chinese New Years, to stayover, to slack, etc since Sec 1.

We played Audition til 3am haha.
She helped me up a level!
Heehee.
She played with the noobs & easily won them cos she's a level 9 while I was a level 4.
Soooo.
Anybody plays Audition here?!?!
I'm xzenx.

Went shopping just now for Christmas presents!
Didnt think that I'd be buying gifts but the thought just went a-knocking.
Just hope they'll like it!
Hope Christmas comes quickly!
For manymany reasons!
1) That's when all the missing friends will be back!

2) Then I'd be able to watch Eragon again with Reg!
Yayyyyy haha.
I'd prolly melt from the sight of Eragon (Ed Speleers!),
right in the freezing cold cinema

3) Christmas partaye! Meet up with olddddd long lost friends from the 1st intake! =D
4) Christmas / Year-End BBQ with the Zen Tribe & extended Starbucks Zen Tribe! (secondary schoolmates) =D
5) SMOKZ reunion! (primary school classmates making up of Shamayne, Misha, Olivia, Kwann & Zen!)
6) And most prolly an outing with the new bowling juniors!
Lots of catching up to do then (:

GRAND OPENING OF SHAPE STUDIO - 16TH DEC '06
Reg & I, plus her classmate Edith were part of the group which gave those who came by the Grand Opening a taste of what hiphop is all about.
We danced to an edited version of Control Myself by LL Cool J featuring J Lo.
It took us a period of 4 weeks to master the 1min28secs dance! Lol.
We were hiphop beginners btw!
Heh borrowed Jocelyn's blue adidas jacket for the perf.
I want my own one nowwww. Lol.
So comfy & I love the 3 stripes at the side. Haha.
Made a new friend in Edith as well as the other dancers-KaiQi, YingLin (Ah Mei?!) & Yina from the stint (:
Twas a seriously fun experience overall with them (:
Will dearly miss the lessons on Saturday mornings ):
Reg & I are still considering on whether we'd be continuing with the lessons there next year.
There's bowling & A Levels to train for & worry about, which is quite sad.
I feel like I found a new interest in dance!
Haha.
Okay everybody who know this prior to this post had been quite shocked.
Some thought I joined SA Dance o.o
which was really funny haha no wayyyyyyyy.
First & only CCA I'd remain forever faithful to is bowling!
Haha dance is just an outside thing.
Recreational is what they call it.
Like Edith!
She didnt join SA Dance :x
But she can really dance!
During the Jazz beginners trial class I was like staring at her feet to make sure I was doing the steps correctly or when I missed the steps & I needed someone to follow.
Lol.
Jazz is tough man.
It's supposed to be a modified version of ballet :S
Forgot the stances/steps/French names which they call the steps already :S
Haha.
Think I'll just stick to hiphop for a while (:
I dunno why I didnt take a video or pics of our dance!
Okay maybe was lazy to take my phone out of Reg's bag when it was in another room.
Haiya wasted huh.
