Happy CNY Eve!
I officially love to (window-)shop at VivoCity!
Had the opportunity to actually enter high-end boutiques&retail outlets to flick through the racks&try on the potential-bomb-in-your-pocket priced clothes.
Ahaha.
Went there with Deborah&Theodor on 2 occasions for CNY shopping but only yesterday did me&Deb try on clothes in addition to window-shopping.
River Island was heavennnnnnn!
I thought it's the best UK store amongst the likes of Topshop/TopMan, Dorothy Perkins, etc.
It's undoubtedly the one with the most expensive range of clothes but I felt that the shop concept seems more attractive - more space, almost equal amount of clothes&range between the women&men's sections, really cool shoes&other accessories, EVEN COOLER WOMEN'S DRESSING ROOMS&of course, there's the great service where there are Retail Consultants or sth like that, though we didnt go consult.
I found this black, poofy-sleeved, knee-length black dress which was the closest to the dress that Ive been looking for.
Of course, it was stupendously overpriced (for the non-working me)!
$89 ):
I am willing to eat bread&drink water for 2 weeks to get it!
I am still contemplating.
Ahaha.
Okay la maybe not..
Deborah found this really fun&cute retro dress!
$119.
Yeah the price is slightly worse than mine but generally-speaking, the prices are just exorbitant.
I guess Theodor had a bigger budget.
He bought a beigey-yellow rugged top for $95 for CNY.
Haha it made him look "slim" (as quoted by Deborah), which I think wasnt the word he'd like to hear cos he wants to bulk up&"look like (my neighbour/acquaintance who's a bodybuilder) Myren".
Haha.
Back to shopping, I wanna go back to Forever 21 again!
Another heaven I have yet to comb.
Ahaha I'm starting to sound like a bimbo.
But really, you should really try shopping sometime with the shopping type.
Haha for the first time in my life I shopped with someone who unknowingly rings the alarms of any&every boutique he/she walks
in (out as well! without nicking anything).
After like 2 shops we realised it's Theodor's wallet which is the cause for it.
He rang the Flash&Splash alarms first, where some guy working there checked his pockets&bags when he stepped IN.
The alarms rang at 77th Street next, where a curious audience stared at us when we entered.
Haha it was really funny.
Then we realised it was his wallet when he walked through the shops with his wallet only.
So everytime we enter/exit a shop with the alarm barricades at the entrance, he'd have to throw his wallet OVER them while me&Deb wait to catch it from the other side (x
Can you imagine, we did that in every shop we went to!
He doesnt even know what's inside his wallet that's beeping the alarms.
Haha.
OMG CHECK THIS OUT.
http://www.jasonmraz.com/mraz2_121306/media.php?r=0.807154988404363Click "IMN Tom Scott".
IMN stands for Invisible Microphone News, as reported by Jason Mraz himself.
Haha he's simply hilarious!
He's also the background reporter.
His voice sounds different in a very 'tagh' way (x
"People bought 500,000 copies of my (Jason Mraz's) record so I can have your (Tom Scott) record" (x
Do check out "IMN Bushwalla" & "OSAMU Rock" too.
Theyre funny as well xD
To end off, here's some pics of my wonderful class during the birthdays&Valentine's Day celebrations - 06A2.
