Haha. So many things happened in the course of this week.

Had a heart-to-heart with bestie at 5am-7am on Tuesday. Was over at her place to wait for the first bus cos the night before we cycled to Anuaar's chalet at NSRCC with her bikes and cycled back at 3.30am. The talk really enlightened me. I felt like my brains aged 5 years. Haha. How do I explain this. Okay I felt like I learnt a lot of things. Such as the fact that it's important to open up, whether or not youre in a friendship or relationship because it will really make things easier and you wont end up assuming too much of the other party, not talk about it and ultimately be upset at the end. Secondly I feel like we're closer as besties after that (: So thanks Reg, for opening up (: I love you!

Oh and I went for my first manicure on Tuesday with Reg! Her mum is a member of OPI at CBD so her mum wanted Reg to get a mani and pedi for prom and offered to pay for mine too. I was rather overwhelmed by the offer so I said that a mani will be enough cos I dont think people will really notice your toes that much and since her mum was paying as well. So I got a french manicure done! Haha twas a rather tiring experience actually. There were like 10 stages altogether to a manicure. First you gotta wash your hands. Then the manicurist shaped the ends of the nails to a flat shape. Then some cuticle gel for the cuticles. Then pushed the dead skin back with some rounded tool. Then she used this picking tool to pick the dead skin out. Then a hand massage. Then an application of a clear base coat, followed by the pink nail polish, followed by the second coat, followed by the white nail polish at the ends, then the top coat and lastly drops of jojoba (?) oil. WOW I was like, WHOAAAA. Hahaha. No wonder it's like, a de-stressing activity. You see your nails get prettied-up at the end of an hour and it feels satisfying. Haha.

Wednesday was prom, which was.. I dunno. HAHA. When people asked me if it was fun, I didnt know how to answer them cos I didnt think that word could characterise it. It was more like a picture-taking, people-watching and a good dinner event than fun. I mean, the councillors did organised some games but they werent exactly interactive with the whole audience. AND THERE WASNT POST PROM. OMG even those who werent going for prom and my friends from other JCs were asking me if I had any idea if there was one. But NO there wasnt. Not that I'm a siao clubber or what, but almost every reputable JC would have one after prom. It's like a custom years past. In the end I think MOS became an unofficial post prom hangout. Haha. There were many saints there cos Zouk was the first choice but it was full house by the time prom ended so everyone went MOS. Somehow I change my mind about Zouk after being in MOS for the second time. I think I like MOS better. The area of the main arena is much bigger and the revolving platform in the middle is HOT! Haha! Twas fun to be on it. And you dont have to know the moves to the retro songs like in Mambo so you can boogie however you like. I half-expected Mambo noobs to start practising their moves to the retro songs before like, heading to Zouk next Wednesday or sth. Hahaha. Smoove was okay la. The cage is pretty cool, but I like Phuture's interior better. Plus Smoove was really smokey! Ugh. The smoking rooms werent very effective in curbing smoke in the club man. Mainstream R&B was played more in Smoove than in Phuture. THEY PLAYED GIMME MORE OMG EVERYONE WENT MAD. I WENT MAD. Haha! Andrew Chow damn sneaky. He decided to squash like 1 min of every mainstream song he could find in the last hour of the opening hours of Phuture. Cheat our feelings. Hahaha.

I was clubbing in my prom dress cos I couldnt be bothered to change. I was probably the only one with a floorlength dress in the club but I didnt really care la. Only one guy stepped on my dress in Smoove but he was really sorry about it. Lol. My heels killed me just in the space of half an hour so tried to bear with the pain in the balls (of the feet!) and the straps which were strangling my toes. When Victoria and Nicholas wanted to head to mcd's (haha today I kena suaned by Boon cos they didnt know what that meant! It's McDonald's! But I guess everyone spells it as mac's in short form) I jumped at the idea cos I needed to rest my feet really badly and I was hungry and dying of thirst la. Haha imagine that feeling and the quick response! So we ate 2 packets of shaker fries and iced milo while waiting for the rest to meet us there. Left at 5.30am feeling sooooooo tired.

Today at Sel's house I felt a little zombielike cos I still felt tired but tried to perk myself up since almost the whole class was there. Not very nice to give in to fatigue while at an occasional gathering like this. Anyways his house WAS DA BOMB! It had a very modern feel, with floor-to-ceiling glass walls, the many modern paintings in the house and an open-air basement which had a L-shaped fish pond, bar and tables. Niceee. Food was great too, loved the naan and curry! Too bad the class didnt really do anything. We just watched TV and chatted. Wish more people stayed too.

I wanna keep changing for the better.
