Haha this year's birthday for me was the bestest and sweetest so far (: The celebrations were really fun and the efforts put in are heartwarming (after I managed to get to know some behind-the-scenes stuff which my dearest classmates and bowling teammates did to make the birthday surprise party run smoothly), the outing on the 5th with my Zen/Choi Tribe as well as to Billy, Pok, Shuneng and Reg who literally counted down to my birthday at Arena and also from the phone msgs from OG mates, friends and family (: I just felt so appreciated and remembered. And I would like to thank everyone again!!! It was definitely a special birthday period for me. Especially when I managed to hang out with so many groups of friends- my sec school clique from class, my sec school bowling clique (Reg, Shu, Billy and Pok), my dimsumpalace 06A2 and the bowlers (((: Words really cant express how thankful I am for everything theyve done for me (: <3
And most importantly my family too. The 4 of us may not be the most united of families, but the morning birthday kiss from my mum (and Zoe haha) and her paying for my birthday cake made me feel so happy, my bro's cute Hello Kitty phone pouch (haha it's damn cute I tell you) and his willingness to follow me to buy the cake on my birthday as well as my dad singing Happy Birthday twice to me with him moving Zoe about on his lap along to the song-they were all sweet little gestures la (: <3 <3 <3
I still cant believe I'm NINETEEN. So old ): I have to get used to this age. Haha. Last year of being a teen! I liked 18. Haha.
I've got a part-time job btw! At Harry's Bar at Boat Quay. PLEASE COME DOWN AND VISIT ME AND REGINA! Haha. I start work tmr while Reg starts next Mon. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. Anxious? Yeah! Cos I think I have short term memory and I may not be able to be fast in learning. I can leave my house keys on the coffee table and forget where I put it like 5 mins later :S Yeah even these little things! I really hope I'd be able to get used to the nocturnal life. I'm starting work at 5pm tmr and will end at about 2am. And Ive to brush up on my English too man, their clientele includes lots of expat working professionals. And I'm scared that I may spill or drop stuff. And also what if I get touched. Haha ok maybe I'm a little paranoid. But yeah cant help it I guess. Gotta have more experience as I work longer over there! Think I may bump into Ben, my Math tutor cos he frequents Harry's Bar but I dunno if he'd be at Boat Quay's branch. Haha. And it'd be my turn serving him instead of him serving me. Lol.
Today went to play badminton with Billy, Pok and Reg at Hougang Stadium. Haha first exercise outing of the year man! And I think it's a first in like weeks as well! Lol. Anyhows the whole outing was to kinda like bid Billy goodbye cos he's going into NS next Monday already. I feel quite sad for my guy friends who's going army this year. They all look really sad each time they talk about going in. And it was nice cos badminton was our clique sport, besides bowling. Lol. Ever since end of Sec 3! That's how long ago our badminton tradition was (: We crashed Billy's house after that and watched The Hills Have Eyes 2 on Tudou, watched the boys play Dota and played lotsa card games with lotsa variations (casino, friends', etc). Twas really a sweet and nostalgic time for me. Haha. I find that they opened up a whole lot more throughout the years and it's so nice to poke fun at them, especially during the card games haha omg I swear they bond ppl together (it did during the bowling farewell chalet!) cos you get to see ppl get agitated and they will be damn funny when they are. During dinner I was comparing it to lunch. The situation was completely different cos we were lunching with some classmates of Billy and Pok's from MSH and twas rather awkward cos we dunno them while dinner was so.. comfortable that you can kiao kah type. Hahaha. Yeah. And they were so sincere about teaching us Dota. I'm not that interested in it but was curious enough to know how it goes. I declined their offers of letting me have a go at it. I think I'd be asking questions about every move I will make la haha. But somehow I find their gesture really sweet and encouraging. I thought boys will be more into the game and like, maybe stereotype girls as bochap about games like that and may not be as enthu to teach. Yep, apparently they were very on seh. Haha. I will miss these outings man.
Super Junior transited over in Singapore (I think?)! Omg why cant they just be over HERE! I think I'll just go crazy if they do. Poor Siwon's injured, he was in crutches at the airport in Taipei! Very difficult to find out why, I only know of one Korean gossip site and it's www.popseoul.com. Anybody have any idea if there are any other sites like these? I'm still waiting for episode 9 of their Explorers of the Human Body show with the english subs so I can understand it! When I first watched the first few episodes, Charlene Y., Vic and Sham were my translators. Haha. Cos they watched it with english subs before and the vids they showed us didnt have em.
Oh yeah I dont think I'll be piercing my eyebrow anytime soon cos of work ): Need to uphold standards so. So sad! I guess I'll be a little decent for now. Haha. Anxioussssssssssssss!
