I'm a bartender! Haha. I was working behind the bar since Tuesday and it's been fun yet a little stressful especially when the bar is crowded (Friday night! :///) For once Is(khandar) my mentor kinda shouted at me for forgetting stuff. Which sucks cos I was a lil nervous la. Haha. The orders just kept coming and I wasnt familiar with the concoctions so I felt pretty retarded. Kept passing the cocktail orders to Is while I simply pumped beers -.-" I sneaked a peek at my concoctions list when I took my classmates' orders when they came to visit tho heh. I made Jungle Juice (15ml Midori Melon Liquer, 15ml Malibu, 15ml Banana Liquer, 30ml Lime Juice and 60ml Pineapple Juice) for them! Mark talked to them and walked over to the bar and was like, your classmates ask you to make anything which is sweet and nice. Chose JJ cos Midori and Malibu are supposedly really nice liquers (I didnt try but I heard they are!). Haha my boss Jimmy damn cute. He was like, Whoa eh. Your classmates all very pretty ah! Hahaha of course Jimmy!
Gna work with the other Is the bartender during the night shifts next week. Then got a new bartender coming in next Monday who has zero experience (like me when I started). Mentor Is will be training him up too. I hope I'd be better since I started earlier! Hee. Budden I cant carry the kegs of beers. Damn. Mentor Is says that he wont allow me to do that so as to prevent any accidents since I'm a girl -.-" He says if we girls were to carry too heavy stuff our wombs may come out. Cos each keg of beer weighs about 43kg. Haha it's a really scary thought but oh well. I'm glad that theyre sensitive but I proved my physical strength by topping up the ice bin with buckets of ice and carry the supposedly heavy coffee machine up after breaking down the bar. I dont wna seem like a gu niang la.
Converting to a full-timer soon, hope my progress to become a full-fledged, all-knowing bartender will be faster! Still got so many things to learn like memorising all the cocktail concoctions and more background info on the alcohol served at Harry's.
I wna watch so many movies. Sky of Love, PS I Love You, Death Note trilogy and many more! No time to watch nowadays ): YiuYiu maybe we could gather the Zen/Choi Tribe for Sky of Love!
