Twas super nostalgic being at the competition atmosphere. I MISS BOWLING COMPETITIVELY. REALLY REALLY DO ): Reg and I were discussing lane conditions and ball talk and stuff like that even when we're not bowling regularly now (OK understatement for me, I havent bowled for.. God knows when) and the bowling mind was still there. I miss being at the top of my game, when your ball roll, speed and accuracy are fucking there (not the best or what but you just feel.. right). I'll only get to continue bowling if a Uni accepts me in cos I'm not in any club or what. But if I do, I'll definitely find my optimum bowling self again. I really have to thank Uncle Adam and SA for allowing me to find my optimum bowling self last year. Would be even better if Reg and I were to head to the same Uni and be doubles partners again (: We supported each other I think for like 4 out of the 6 years we were in bowling (except for Sec 1 and 2 when we were not close yet) and I cant imagine bowling in a team without her.
Was almost like A Div 2007 yesterday behind the lanes. Fucked up supporters I tell you. Only know how to kachiao. What the hell did we do to make you wna provoke us? Seriously. Until now no sportsmanship and maturity is it. I'd hate to imagine how the school supporters are like if the bowlers themselves (most anyway) are already like that. But as a bowler I'd have to thank them for being like that cos the drive came from this shit I received last year. I vowed to beat them and I did.

I got so tempted to poke-poke another hole when the (not complete) Tribe followed Yiu Yiu to pierce her second ear hole haha! I think it's the affordability of piercing which did not make me think twice about poking another hole in my ear. Haha. I only had 2 holes (the very first ones at the lobes of the ears) after I finished A's. 5 months later there's 7. Haha. I'm considering piercing somewhere adventurous. At the ears I mean! Like maybe the tragus. I dunno. Haha. I wanted to pierce my eyebrow but in the end I didnt!

Helped out at Chijmes on Saturday night again cos they had an SMU function. Met and talked to some SMU people there like Sue, Coreen and Eugene. Haha they are all really nice people. Sue was half drunk I think, but she was damn cute, she helped me push the Heineken beer pumping machine all the way to the back of Harry's while Coreen accompanied us and we three chatted and laughed and exchanged numbers (: Told em to come visit me at Shenton Way. Lols.
Slept in today cos I only reached home at 11am. Went for overnight CounterStrike/Battlefield with TEAM SHENTON WAY (our Harry's Bar Shenton Way colleagues) for our weekly Saturday Cohesion Outings. The brainchild of our Assistant Manager who is 13 years older than me. Haha. We played from about 4am to 10.30am. Our AM was saying that it was almost like one full shift. HAHA. Song boh! If we were to come to work, play CS then go home. Haha (x Woke up at 6.30pm and went to Punggol Nasi Lemak to have dinner with Mum and bought DONUTS. My AM will be damn happy. When I worked morning shift I keep bringing donuts for breakfast for me, him and Maya then when I didnt bring he was like, I'm hungry let's go buy lunch! Because I thought I was having donuts for breakfast la. HAHA. I dont own a donut factory Jimmy!
On Wed, Maya, Regina, Sher Wei and I went for Ladies' Night at Azzucar, MOS and Arena. Azzucar was rather fun (: It's a Salsa/Samba/Latin club. Sher Wei taught us some Salsa moves while Maya spontaneously danced to the music. She's a natural! *envy envy* Haha. Twas free flow before.. 12pm? Yeah. Vil is working there! He was an ex-bartender at The Pier's Harry's. So coincidentally when I worked at The Pier for a week it was his last week there as well. So we received excellent service at Azzucar. BUT sadly Arena was disappointing ): Twas Sher Wei and Maya's first time there but it had to be a crappy night for them. It's my, I dunno, 5th time? But I didnt enjoy myself there as well cos of A BARTENDER. Omg. How one person can ruin your night and impression of the place man. Firstly, he underpoured our Vodka Orange and secondly, he had a really bad attitude. Fuck man. He gave us an impression that he looked down on the ladies who walked into the club for free drinks. He gave A DASH of Vodka only and filled up the cup with orange juice. Normally with the speedpourer you'd have to let the spirit flow for 5 seconds (onethousandtwothousandthreethousandfourthousandfivethousand) to get a full shot, or 30ml worth. But after Maya complained to the Bar Sup, Bouncer and Entertainment Director about it, we came to know that they were instructed to only give half a shot. Fine. But A DASH is like 5ml? Maya wanted to PAY for our Vodka Oranges and Lychee Martinis so that we'd get the real deal. But I was like, aiya forget it la. Let's go someplace else. And when I asked the bartender what's in their Lychee Martini (I know the concoction, but I was just wondering if they only put Vodka in it or anything else other than the normal concoction) he looked at me and replied, no you can only get the Lychee Martinis at 10pm. I replied, no sorry you got me wrong I was just wondering what's in your Lychee Martini. He gave me that why-do-you-need-to-know, i-dont-even-think-you'd-know-half-of-what-i'll-be-saying look and answered, vodkabiancolycheeliquerandlycheesyrup real quickly and turned away when halfway through his answer. Hello how rude la. Whatever it is I dont think I'll be going back there anytime soon la. He's a new bartender if I'm not wrong. Where are the old ones!

Haha OK. What have I been up to. Haha what the hell I just typed SCHOOL. Something's wrong with me. HAHA omg *slaps self* Maybe this is a good sign. Like I may get into Uni. Haha OK WORK! Yes. Yesterday night the ex-SJI cum ex-SA/ex-AC bowlers came to drink at Harry's. Haha so cute la they all. I can sense that friendship they all had since sec school and same for me I have the Zen/Choi Tribe. They drank two of my own concoctions Mint Bomb and Sweet Nothings (OK I'm not too good at inventing names. Haha. Both were very anyhow chapalang just throw one name just to name the drink kind of thing so yeah I gotta think of better ones!). First is a Starbucks/Coffee Bean inspired alcoholic (OK both were alcoholic of course) drink which has Kahlua, Peppermint and Milk in it and the second one has Malibu, Peach Schnapps and Cranberry juice in it but in a Martini glass. Sexaye. Haha. Come Harry's at Shenton Way I make for you. Bartender's special, not in the menu one. Ahaha.
I think Vodka cannot have a threesome/foursome/fivesome etc with other alcohol. Hahaha. If you get what I mean. It's nice alone with one or maybe two mixers. Like cranberry juice. I love that. Vodka kills the taste of the other alcohol like the time the bowlers and I went to Bintan and we drank this drink which had Midori, Frangelico and other juices in it but got Vodka :S It tasted like antiseptic in the end. Haha. So yeah if you have some alcohol at home and if you intend to experiment around dont try Vodka and other alcohol. I have not experimented around with Vodka much yet but so far this is what I feel la.

Today went out with Warren and Darryl after work. Luckily they came back in one piece from New Zealand cos they went there for nearly a month doing extreme sports (trekking on mountains and the wilderness, white water sledging, skydiving, bungee jumping, surfing, etc etc) and yeah I kinda miss them. Haha. Used to see them every day in school, at trainings, tuitions or the random outings but it's not like that now.
Sigh. I feel like I stepped into another phase in my life. Or chapter. Y'know, the transition from JC to whatever people do during the long break (NS/work) to Uni. I'm glad I went to Harry's because I met so many great people there and I love my job. I feel so comfortable now, I feel like sitting on this job for a longer time but I have to go Uni and I cant be a bartender forever. Imagine a barmaid (I swear I hesitated right there cos barMAID sounds funny to me. Haha. I would rather barTENDER because whether or not youre the girl or guy you tend the bar what. What maid. Just because I'm a female doesnt mean I'm a slave to the bar please. Haha.) at the age of 30plus who looks so old and unattractive I think people see also run away. HAHA. It will definitely be a great experience for me to look back on next time.
OH YES MY COUSIN CHRISTOPHER WANTS TO JOIN ME AT SHENTON WAY. Haha I think it'd be so cool if we were to bartend together. Jimmy gotta talk to Andrew to set up an appointment first. Need to lose those fats also. I think I put on weight after I got transferred to Shenton Way and when in the bar. When I was waitressing at Boat Quay I felt like I was walking more than I have ever walked before in one day. Had to gobble down food during breaks cos the Floor Captain will be hot on my heels if I were 5 mins late so always brought cup noodles or buy a burger from McD's to fill my stomach. In the end I lost some weight. BUT I PUT IT BACK ON ALREADY. Maya, let's go for the slimming package at International Plaza. HAHA.
