A Triple Whammy.Still, it's not the end of the road. I'm appealing again for all and looking for alternatives. Somehow I'm sure everything will work out fine. I'm pretty adamant on what I want to do and I'll try my best to work towards it.
But I guess sometimes the Pessimistic Zen will resurface and fuck myself upside down about this. I guess I would say I kind of regret not putting more effort previously, but I'm not sore to the core about it cos my time was focussed on what I felt passionate about at that time and I tried my best. And I made really really good friends in the past 2 years while I was there, I definitely do not regret that (:
Gonna be a bit Korean cute-sy here, but.. Zen fighting!

Took MC today cos I have a mysterious stomachache- it felt rather painful and bloated. (Sounds like it may burst like a balloon any moment hor? Haha) Went to the toilet thrice. Maybe it's stomach flu or a slight case of food poisoning (got a bit of gagging feeling at the throat) or cos Big Aunt's coming I'm not too sure. Maybe it's the last one cos my whole body's aching as well :S Ka-seng, chiu-seng.. (Jiao suan-suan de, shou ye suan-suan de.. I dunno how to translate in English properly lol. Leg and arms feel overworked?) So just told the doc I have diarrhea and rested at home today. The doc wanted to check if I was pregnant. I was like,
HAR? Oh it's OK. He was like,
Oh we ask all our patients who have diarrhea to check if theyre pregnant. I was like,
Oh OK haha it's OK I dont think I need to. (x Oh wells he was just helping right? Haha.
Sundays are really enjoyable with the
Zen/Choi Tribe :D Last Sunday Vic treated us to
Shokudo at Cine :D It's like
Pasta de Waraku. Vic intro-ed to the family her new stuffed toy love, Ken. It's a damn small, cute green big headed.. vegetable. Haha. Lemme kope a pic from YiuYiu's blog.

That Vic can be a puppeteer la. I crack up whenever she bounces Ken up and down and go,
"Oma! Oma! (Mum! Mum!)" and
"Hyung! Hyung! (Brother! Brother!)" in that cute voice she uses when she puppets her Daney and Ken. You gotta hear it to believe it. Haha. Went to Shamayne's house after dinner and slept over. Haha. Paiseh cos she had to go to school the next morning :X Next Sun we're gonna custom make chain earrings and watch
Prince Caspian woohoo! Cant wait :D
The urge of getting a tattoo of my name at my back/neck in another language is increasing. Haha. Still deciding what language to use. Pai kia or what! Haha. And maybe get like 5 more piercings (including the tragus and eyebrow..) and dye my hair pink.. OK the last sentence was rubbish!
Haha I'm addicted to
SS501's
A Song Calling For You (Remix). The dance steps are damn cute. Haha! Talking about dance I hope I can secure 2 spots for Sham and me in Choon Hui's class on Sun. I booked on Friday evening (we can only book 2 days in advance and on Friday morning we can book already) AND THERE WASNT ANYMORE SPACE ): ): ): ): ): Shall book on Friday morning!

Had a fun Sunday afternoon (as usual (: ) with my Zen/Choi Tribe at Changi Airport's T3 (: Had Popeye's for lunch and Swensen's for dessert yummmms. It was my first time there and I was IMPRESSED yet nostalgic. Impressed cos like Vic said, it looks like a shopping mall and the design is super futuristic- lots of steel and high ceilings. I was super awed by a restaurant which is at the top level of T3 which runs around a big fat pillar AND it's open-air, not covered. SOUNDS COOL RIGHT! It was. Hahaha. Walked past Harry's, which looked pretty small though. We look lotsa pics but they're in Sham's pinkish-purplish Lumix camera (hehe! OK it's her Mum's), hopefully will get them from her soon! Oh yes nostalgic because
I MISS TAKING AN AIRPLANE TO GO OVERSEAS ): Shamayne felt the same way, she said she missed Japan for 3 months already. For me it's ever since Bangkok! The feeling of being in another country is soooo different and lovely. I feel like I'm entering a whole new world, creating new memories and experiencing exciting new things. At the same time, I feel so independent and free like I have no problems on my shoulders. (And secretly I hope to bump into some famous Asian stars ahaha!) Sigh, I wanna experience it all again. The Tribe is thinking of heading to Japan next year! :D :D :D Am so eggcited right NOW. I really hope it comes into reality. The saving money part wont be a problem I guess, since I'm working now but it's more of the time. I'm not sure what my next few months will be like much less next year. Sighs.
I've been rejected by SMU and NTU ): SMU last week and NTU just today. My heart sank even deeper after receiving that letter today. I dont know what I'd do if an NUS letter comes along next and drop my heart into the core of the earth (OK it's not THAT bad la I guess but yeah you do feel disappointed till that extent sometimes). Cos it's too expensive to take a private degree and/or going overseas (which I dont think I'd be considering at all). I have some options right now;
1) Apply to SIA, earn some money for two years and come back to take a Tourism and Hospitality degree in MDIS or
2) Keep researching for cheaper alternatives to get a degree in T&H (which I think is highly unlikely..) or.. I dont know.
Argh. Mum encouraged me to just start working already and stop studying cos my chances of getting into a local U is slim. I was a little shocked at that but considering both my mum and my dad's family backgrounds none of their own family members went to Uni, except for my one cousin who went to an Australian Uni and spent quite a lot there.
I really wanna keep my head up but somehow I'm losing that positivity.. Argh.
Maybe I'm not Uni material. Haha. I dont know.
OK let's not dwell in this depressing talk anymore. Maybe this is fate, I'm meant for something else. Haha.
Talking about travelling previously, I had a chat with a customer last week about life. (How general and boring it sounds right? Haha I hate talking about life issues sometimes because it's so.. general. Like, you gotta make compromises, you'll have more responsibilities as you grow older, yada yada.. That it gets quite monotonic and drony sometimes cos it's such a subjective topic.) I suddenly had an eureka moment. Like, I realised what I wanted to do in my life cos of what I've been doing and what the customer had been experiencing. He works in the cable industry and travels rather often, months at a time, to many different countries and enjoys his work because he gets to meet new people (from different countries) and experience different world cultures and it's a very interesting job and he enjoys it a lot. Then I said,
You know what? That's what I want to do in my life next time too. I wanna travel. We're born in this world not to stay in just one place in our whole life. I hope to do that gradually as I grow older, I hope. I'm hoping cos I'm slowly inching further and further away from Singapore.. Thailand was my furthest. Hopefully Japan would be next (:
..And that would be one of my dreams.
Among being able to drive, get a car, start a clothing biz with the Thursday Club which we hope will be even more successful we progress, pursue a degree in T&H..
Hopefully these will be realised. Watch this space (:

Here's my new blogskin made by my very dear dottie Shamayne otherwise known as Ritsu! You deserve to be creditted! She's damn good at making these kinda things, including icons and logos so if anyone needs a designer I've got a good one to recommend! Thank you very much dearie I love it though Siwon's eyes have been cut (x It makes him look very model-like and sexaye eh!
Today was a super hot day. A place-an-ice-cream-on-the-floor-will-sure-melt-in-a-second kind of HOT :/ So I decided to cab down to Eunos MRT to meet Mumtaz to go to HarbourFront -.-" Couldnt tahan the heat! We then headed down to Vivo to meet Deb and bought Michelle's birthday pressies, then headed to Krystal's mum's shop to pick up the tees and dresses we plan to bring to Mich's party to sell. We then headed down to Mich's house in Bishan in a cab (this time is not cos of the heat but the consideration of paying for the same amount if we took bus-then-train-then-bus adult fares times three and that it would be less of a hassle plus more comfort if we were to take a cab (: ). And guess what, Siying bought 2 tees from us! :D Thanks for supporting our biz, girlie! We still have yet to come up with a name for our shop/biz though. Haha.
Oh yes
I PASSED MY BTT ON THURS! *grins till all teeth can be seen* Happy happy! Super relieved as well (: Finally with 2 e-trial tests -.-" I would definitely advise anyone who wishes to pass his/her BTT on the first time to take at least one e-trial test (which consists of 2 BTT trial test papers you can take) before going for the real thing cos the questions which come out will be repeated. But Deborah passed even when she did not take any e-trial test prior to her BTT (twas during my first BTT attempt). So good and clever right! Haha. Me, Mumtaz and Krystal took the test on the same day same time also fail. So in conclusion I would say you'd get a 25% chance of passing your BTT without attempting any e-trial test.
Off to bed now! Hope there's 2 spots in hip hop class tmr! *prays*

I thought I'd like to squeeze in some updates before I embark on another whirlwind of busy activities that does not permit me to blog.
Right where shall I start. Work today was definitely much more tolerable than Monday cos I was actually moving about more in the bar and making lotsa cocktails as compared to Monday. It was deadtown on Monday ): I dont think I used the dishwasher at all. Everytime a glass came in I just wash it by hand and stacked them back to where they belong. Even small spills on surfaces were wiped immediately when seen. It's that boring. Thank God for the group of three who sat at the bar counter today, they were great customers (: They ordered like 6 Kamikazes, 2 Long Islands and 4 Long Island Beach Teas among other simple spirit-based drinks. And together with random cocktail orders from the floor I can say that I am satisfied by the orders of the day. Haha. It's boring just pumping beers. And wiping stupid small minute spills which you dont normally care about.
Met up with Jade, Krystal, Deb and Kenneth for lunch today at East Coast Road's Xing Wang Hong Kong Cafe :D Havent seen Jade for ages!
(Alamak I really wanna post up the pics we took after leaving the place but I'm in the dark in my bro's room and it's 3am . Lazyyy. I'll post it up soon!) Here they are! I stole em from Jade's blog heh so credits and thanks to Jadey dear! (:

Twas my first time using my POSB card to sign under MasterCard hoho! Been helping my own customers swipe their bills but never mine. So twas a cool virgin experience I got to just sign my name and settle the bill for us HA (no la I didnt treat tho lol). We got a free mango pudding cos of MasterCard. Yum! Left with Jade in bus 10 after lunch to Harry's and caught up a bit (: Have fun in England my dear!
Oh yes the clothing biz which Krystal, Deb, Mum and I set up are doing pretty well (: We've got a definite clientele in Krystal's mum's own clients in her beauty salon haha :D Mostly were tai-tais. We plan to use our profits to pay for our plane tickets and buy more clothes to sell :D Oh how I love travelling now. After Bintan and Bangkok.. AH! Miss the plane ride, the thrill and excitement when going into the plane and landing in a whole new country, pretending to be popstars when arriving at the immigration, shopping, eating authentic cuisines, etc.. Ahhhhh. Cant wait to jetset off somewhere again.
Just booked for 2 E-trial tests today at CDC with Deb before my second BTT attempt this Thursday. Hope they help and that I pass! *PRAYS*
Sunday was dance, lunch, shopping and dinner with Shamayne and Victoria :D They are damn funny creatures. HAHA. Love them. I was commenting that in Super Junior's Miracle, there's a line that goes, "life couldnt get better" and what if we pronounced it in a Singaporean slang? I tried and it turned out as a mat slang. Hahaha! "Life COOD-dent get BEAR-ter!" xD When we stepped into 77th Street in Parkway we were trying on trucker hats. I sang that line with the trucker hat loose on my head which sent us all into fits of laughter. Hahaha! Ohoh! We were planning to make a "I LOVE ZEN TRIBE" and a "I LOVE SAPPHIRE BLUE" for our Tribe and for us SuJu fans in the Tribe before we go to their concert :D Exciting exciting!
Ohohoh. I'm now addicted to this Taiwanese drama, HANA KIMI :D

Rui Xi and Yi Quan! (:

Omg Ella (from S.H.E.) is really cute inside. Love her character's bubbly personality which I thought she portrayed really well AND not forgetting Wu Chun (from Taiwanese boyband Fahrenheit) or QUAN (his character's name). He's just so wow. I cant blame Ella's character from falling for him. He's got this strong, silent and protective personality and he's just so gorgeous la. *melts into a puddle* Haha! MORE PICS HERE.

Fahrenheit! Jiro's also in the show (bottom left of pic. Wu Zun's at the bottom right). Their smiles are super cute with their super jolly faces xD

I think the pic below makes them look like they're from an anime or sth. Haha. Look at their eyes.

Jiro's character is damn funny. Love his hair-the kind of hair which I think every guy should consider sporting. HAHA.

OK I shall stop fangirling already. Till the next post!
(I'm anticipating A'ST1's debut album to be great :D Love the few songs I've heard from them so far, especially 1, 2, 3, 4 Back and You :D You is so smooth with soul and R&B and their English pronounciations are superb, am proud of them (since they're Koreans)!)

BACK FROM THAILAND! (:
Bangkok was great. Shopping was (: Spent about $400plus on shopping, transport and food during the 4 days. Heh. Sway thing was I had to fall sick during the trip. Had a bit of flu during the first 2 days but managed to buy medicine from a pharmacy at Siam Paragon. I loved Chatuchak (the weekend market) as well as Platinum mall! They are my fav shopping places cos you can bargain (: Did lots of that and Krystal is bargain queen man; "No larh, 100baht la, we friend-friend! You happy, I happy!" Haha. I stole her lines and they do work. LOL. Will blog more about the trip with piccahs once I get them from Deb, Krys, Mich and Clar!
The hotel was great too. We stayed at Baiyoke Suite Hotel and booked a Deluxe room where we had a hall and a room for beds. It's the second tallest hotel in Bangkok next to Baiyoke Sky.
One thing which fascinated me was the fact that Thailand really love the Korean scene. I heard at least one Super Junior song playing somewhere every day. Haha. And I found the perfume/deodarant/etc brand which Siwon is endorsing! Haha. Bought a few bottles of the perfume back. They smell nice leh! Haha. And and and. Wonder Girls as well as SS501 are going to Bangkok in May. So fans, you can Jetstar/Tiger down to Bangkok to catch em if youre interested, cos airfare is rather cheap for these 2 airlines (: Minus the crampy seats.
OK I'mma turn in first. It's 4.30am in the morning and I feel sleepy alr. See you!
