When Alcohol Takes You Over.
I've learnt from my experience that,
1) Never to tah alcohol when you're already so sagh (high and your sense of balance is almost non-existent) and half-deaf,
2) Never to drink alcohol after you've skipped a meal,
and 3) Never to mix beer and spirits (and wine too?) so casually.
Cos I did all the above 3 major sins /: If you DON'T WANT alcohol to influence you to become a human merlion, I really think those 3 should be your drinking commandments. Yours truly must have been slapped with the label Super Unglam on her forehead after that )))))))))))):
I'm just glad my limits were tested with people whom I could trust. I am still deeply remorseful for that unfortunate event ): One poor soul didnt know how she should best take care of me while another kena my merlion spray and had to take care of me in the end /: So much for being a bartender. Haha how sia like this.

Back to Primary School.
Gonna have a Japanese dictation test on some Hiragana next lesson. SO FAST RIGHT! And yesterday was just my first lesson. I am going to hunt down my primary school exercise book which has squares and practise writing there. I forgot what they use to call it in Mandarin. OH! CI ZI BEN! Hahaha OK yep there you go. I wanna ace my test next week!

Met up with the Thursday Club yesterday after Jap class at Siglap's Gelare. They stayed only for about 45mins after I came cos it was rather late already. I arrived only at about 10.15pm :/ Kelvin and Kenneth, both of whom are Deborah and Krystal's 'husbands' respectively, were there too haha. We will be able to have a quartet date in future :D Kelvin, who recently became an air steward, is flying to Paris and Switzerland soon and getting paid for it AH LUCKY DUDE OR WHAT. I hope I'd be able to join him in future!

Dance was different yesterday, we had to follow the lyrics AND the beat to the song, which is like Lyrical Pop dance. So we learnt how to dance to the pre-chorus to Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis. Twas different from our usual hiphop but twas fun! (:
And talking about dance, I'm finally one step closer to learning how to shuffle :D I can finally do the twist-left-leg-kick-right-leg-and-move-to-the-right step already :D Hahaha. And when I was showing Shamayne my unperfected moonwalk I was able to do it finally! AHHHHHH hahaha. Damn happy larh. Lol. Right now I've this obsession over Shuffling after watching so many people do it and Reg and I thought that if we knew how to shuffle, we'd be able to express our enjoyment for trance/house music so we went YouTube and tried. Really we tried, in her hall in the middle of the night (x Her downstairs neighbours must have wanted to kill us then haha. We both agreed that if we both were studying in NTU and roomed together, we would've failed Uni. Haha. Imagine us skipping/nodding off during morning classes cos we stay up late shuffling. She had to rush an Econs assignment at like 2plus am when we realised that twas getting real late and her Econs tutorial was at 8.30am that very day :/

I dunno why, but even though this week has not ended yet, I feel like more than a week has passed. I think it's cos I've been awake most of the time, spending only a few hours asleep each night. The days feel long and hence it feels like more time has passed than my normal week.
This must be the reason why I feel like I know you longer than when you count the number of days.
YAY I AM STARTING JAPANESE CLASSES THIS COMING MONDAY! :D I have not been in any class for almost 9 months and I'm excited :D It's gonna be held every Monday, 6.30-9.30pm at Tung Ann Building at CBD. Wherever that is. I gotta go find the building! Gonna do Elementary 1 on my own but Shamayne will be switching Jap school and coming to mine's and Vic's (Yano Language School) for Elementary 2 :D I need a partner in class so I can anyhow rattle broken Jap to her and become good at it. Haha.
Doushite kimi wo suki ni natte shima tan darou?

I PASSED MY FTT! :D
Ah so sleepy now. Only slept for a few hours last night. And I woke up late even with an alarm! I was supposed to wake up at 8.30am to get ready for E-Trial at 10.15am but yesterday night I unknowingly set the alarm for 9.30am. And I could even snooze for 15mins! -.-" I cabbed down immediately for E-Trial. Luckily only E-Trial! :P
Hoping for a Practical Test date in December! Wanna get my licence before my birthday heh!
Talking about birthdays, I want a fedora for my birthday! Wait, I want many in different colours (black/grey/brown..)! Haha. The noona in SHINee's reality tv show has influenced me. Haha. Less than 4 more months to go! Omg see. Please don't get me started on my birthday xP
Work tonight, then heading down to chef Johnson's birthday (!) chalet. Then dance on Sunday morning followed by XLB (Xiao Long Bao) at Ding Tai Fung with the Tribe! :D

I think I'm experiencing insomnia. I can't seem to fall asleep as easily as last time even after a long ardous day and even when my eyelids feel so tired my mind is still whirring with thoughts of the day and the number of hours spent asleep has reduced. And that is not because I have to wake up to something in the morning or afternoon but cos I just can't seem to go back to sleep.
For example, one night, I slept at 1am and woke up at 5am. I tried to go back to sleep but I couldn't, so at 5.30 I gave up and decided to have breakfast and read the newspaper. I climbed back into bed at 6.30 hoping to catch a few more hours of sleep and thankfully I managed to sleep for a few more hours.
Then on Saturday, I only came home at 7am after working on Friday night and only managed to sleep till 12pm cos I couldn't sleep anymore.
And today, I came home at 7am again cos my colleagues and I went MOS the night before. I slept like a log (for the first time in a week?) till 12pm when Vic called and I could still fall asleep till my alarm rang at 1pm. I think alcohol helped. Haha. AH IF I WERE TO DRINK EVERY NIGHT I'LL BECOME FAT!
I was telling Regina that she'll be happy to have me around in chalets now cos I won't fall asleep on her in the middle of the night in the middle of a chat anymore xP
Had good food again today :D Sundays rockkkk with my Tribe (: Had mocha lamb chop at some cafe at Katong and Sakae Sushi for dinner :D In between, Vic, YiuYiu, Sham and I caught Boys Over Flowers xD I think I prefer the Taiwanese F4 members but I like the Japanese Shan Cai better. Haha.
Busy week ahead!

I'm such a lazy tard. I feel so lazy whenever it's days I've to work. COME ON ZEN TAN! WORK FOR THE JAPAN TRIP AND SAVINGS! *prays for a windfall instead* (Thinking about it, I've never won the lottery before so I should get a chance! Hahaha omg *slaps self*)
Oh yes, I've ordered SHINee's first album, The SHINee World, from JKPoppy already :D I can be a pirate but nothing beats owning the real thing and the thing I'm looking forward to is the album jacket with the pics and thank-yous, even though they'd most probably be in Korean. But who cares, I'm supporting the boys, that's what's important! (:

Yesterday was my first driving lesson with Vic's ex-driving instructor. He's a really patient man, I'm thankful for that. Lol. Cos I made the car stall thrice because I released the clutch when I'm not supposed to and jerked to a stop a few times (like how it is when you're in a bus and the bus drivers always do that every few metres and it gets so annoying) all in a space of half an hour (x Ah I guess that's how it is when I take up Manual instead of Automatic. The gear-changing part will take some getting used to. I'm so kiasu I booked 5 more future lessons and most of which is an hour and a half sessions (x Hopefully I pass my FTT next Friday then my Practical will be at the end of December. Then if I pass that, I'd get to be a licenced driver before my birthday! :DAnd maybe I'll get a car as a birthday present! OK dream on Zen.
I'm off to lunch! Nong Shim Spicy Mushroom!!!

Down with the flu ): Hate the runny nose and the feeling of discomfort but get to skip work and have a lazy day, so I'm pretty contented. Haha. I get to catch up with Romantic Princess on Crunchyroll and sleep earlier (:
Pretty hyped up for my very first driving lesson on the road tomorrow evening, hope I don't crash the car (x Gonna go book one more e-trial lesson for my FTT just in case as well. Scared I won't pass, then I'd have to re-book and wait for months before my re-take :/ Hopefully I feel better tomorrow!
Yesterday, I had a pretty vivid dream. I don't usually have vivid dreams which I can remember when I wake up. I dreamt that I was in a bowling competition, against other schools. I think I'm still in Saints Bowling because Ms Wong is still my teacher i/c, Uncle Adam is still my coach and Reg was in my team. Anyways, I could remember that there was a break after a few games. I bowled pretty decently, I still remember, and was hoping to maintain my performance or to try to do even better to be Top 3. I found myself in normal clothing (jeans and a tee) and was at one end of the bowling alley chatting with Uncle Adam. The competion was held at the other end of the alley.
After our chat ended, I walked over to the other end and saw that the competitors were already there in their respective lanes and the TV screens were lit up with our names and the arrows were flashing, indicating that we could start the competition already. I panicked cos I wasnt dressed in my bowling attire yet nor was my bowling balls on the rack. Reg gave me this prompting look asking me to go get changed ASAP! So I ran to the toilet but I realised I did not have my bowling attire. I ran out and went to some random bowler (I dunno why I did that) and asked her if she had any extra attire. She searched her bag, took out this red flowery cotton pair of berms and a blue flowery button-down tee and said, "I only have these". I grabbed them immediately and went to change without delay. (I know, what the hell right, they must look like a pair of PJs!) And indeed, I was staring at myself in front of a full-length mirror in the toilet in that pair of PJ-lookalike outfit. I cant bowl in these, I thought. So I ran out again to see if anybody had a set of Saints Bowling attire. And I was surprised to see that everybody in my pair of lanes were in chatter, looking at me. I looked up at the TV screen and sure enough, the only flashing arrow was under my name. They were all waiting for me to get changed! I quickly went to Reg and luckily she had an extra pair of bowling attire so I quickly ran back into the toilet again to change.
When I went out, I saw that everybody had started to bowl. I looked at Ms Wong in confusion. Weren't they all waiting for me a moment ago? I thought. Ms Wong walked over to me and said, "I'm sorry Zen, you're disqualified". "What?! No.." I couldn't believe my ears. But they were waiting for me a moment ago! I thought. I stood there, crestfallen. I know I have no power to do anything else but accept the fact. I felt like crying there and then.
That was the end of the dream.
What a weird dream eh? But it felt real. Lol. I guess I deserved it for being a blur sotong. Haha.
